Relocating objects and containers

In this section you will find details about:

• Moving objects and containers: the Change locations task, which is used to update the current location and location history of one or more objects or containers simultaneously; and
• The Standard Model's Movement and shipping logistics data source (coming soon).

  Movement and shipping logistics is used to plan incoming, outgoing, internal, and external movements of collections items1 It is not possible to plan the movement of containers at the moment; this functionality will be available in a future release. from simple single stage movements (from a storage location to a conservation studio, for instance) to complex multi-stage movements (from storage location to truck, to flight, to second truck, for instance).
